Suriya’s 2D Entertainment produces this film that is written and directed by Kalyan.

The storyline of the film is supposed to be amusing but the script and the screenplay suggests otherwise. The intention is in total contrast to what’s happening on the screen. And if that’s not enough you have another story meandering aimlessly within this story that has no bearing to the main plot. On the whole the film tries to thrive on these hiccups and the ridiculous comedy scenes that annoy than entertain and in a way saves us from the preachy Jo.

You kind of know how Jyothika would perform and you are rewarded with the typical Jo mannerisms. Veteran Revathy manages to hold her own. Yogi Babu gets repetitively irritating. While the rest including samudrakanni make their presence felt sometimes loud sometimes who cares.

Cinematographer Anandkumar does not try hard. Vishal Chandrasekhar’s music is at the most average. Vijay Vekukutty does not do much at the editing table. Dialogues are pedestrian and direction ordinary.

JACKPOT is like it’s name if you are lucky you might find something interesting.

JACKPOT – JALRA !!
