MUKUNDAN UNNI ASSOCIATES – MOVIE REVIEW

MUKUNDAN UNNI ASSOCIATES is a drama that is written by Vimal Gopalakrishnan Abhinav Sunder Nayak and directed by debutant Abhinav Sunder Nayak.

MUA has a fun start and the mind voice that accompanies the proceedings works and doesn’t bore you despite an overdose of it throughout the film. With the film revolving around a self centred character there is a lot to be amused about but at the same time a lot feels totally contrived and unchallenged. Yes, the “grey” concept works, yet the totally one-sided characterization makes for a totally one way traffic that is too smooth to feel engaged. The humour is decent and the scams are too perfect to be believable. Yet the movie is at your face and does not pretend to be anything that it doesn’t want to be.

Vineeth is convincing in his portrayal as Unni. Suraj Venjaramoodu compliments well. Sudhi Koppa does well. The rest are Okay..

Vishwajith’s cinematography is good. Sibi Mathew’s background score suits the mood of the film. The dialogues are decent and direction good.

MUKUNDAN UNNI ASSOCIATES is a light fun watch..

MUKUNDAN UNNI ASSOCIATES – MUNIFICENT !!!
