SHOT BOOT THREE – MOVIE REVIEW

SHOT BOOT THREE is an adventure comedy specifically targeted at kids that is written and directed by Arun Vaidyanathan and produced by Arun Vaidyanathan himself.
SBT has a simple storyline that has is uncomplicated and pretty straightforward. With a pet thrown into the mix the film tries its best to keep the engagement factor going. There are no surprises and there are a few underlying messages to the parents towards upbringing of the kids. These messages are not something that are unknown and not that they are presented any uniquely but still the message The film does try to convey them. The narrative is too plain and direct and that is a downer.
Venkat Prabhu is neat while Sneha does look pale. The kids Praniti, Poovaiyar, Kailash Heet and Vedanth Vasantha deliver good performance especially Kailash.
Sudarshan’s cinematography is OK. Carnatic musician Rajhesh Vaidhay’s background score and music works well with the script. Dialogues are decent and so are the edits. The direction is neat.
