KATTIL is produced by Maple Leaf Productions. The film is written by B. Lenin and directed by GaneshBabu.

As is evident from the title of the film the story of the film revolves around a cot. The narration is neat though the screenplay takes its own time to establish the crux of the matter. The slow pace is a dampener and the drama looks and sounds very jaded. Famly squabble is not properly explained and it becomes difficult to sympathize with the lead role. Ganesh Babu has done his bit. Srushti Dange holds the movie together with her performance. Kanniga is OK. Vidharth comes in bits and pieces. Senthil Kumar in a different aggressive avatar impresses.

Cinematography by Wide angle Ravishankar is OK. Srikanth Deva’s background score is good. Dialogues are average. Editing and direction is standard.

KATTIL is more or less acts like a sedative !!
