ARIMAPATTI SAKTHIVEL is written by Pavan K and directed by Ramesh Kandhasamy. The film is produced by Life Cycle Creations.

One more film on casteism and this film falls flat mostly due to its execution. The ridiculous action scenes are not just unwarranted but make the screenplay look very comical. Another major drawback is the lead character and his expressions. The drama that unfolds on the screen doesn’t connect with the audience due to the very average performances of the younger cast. Though the film is based on a true incident and has a message to convey and isn’t loud about it, it still doesn’t stick.

Pavan is the weakest link in the film. Meghana does her bit and still doesn’t impress. Charlie and Annachi do well.

JP Man’s cinematography is OK. Mani Amuthavan’s musical score is average. Dialogues are standard and direction is unimpressive
