GUARDIAN – MOVIE REVIEW

GUARDIAN is written by Sabari and Guru Saravanan. The film is produced by Vijay Chander.

Tamil cinema doesn’t seem to get enough of horror stories. The template is the same that they have been churning for years with a few cosmetic changes. The first half meanders aimlessly till the plot is revealed. It is in the second half the usual flash back appears and then the viewer get to realise it is the same revenge saga like in every horror movies. So the end is as expected. The same revenge saga embellished with uninteresting bits.

Hansika is OK. The villains in Sriman. Suresh Menon and Pradeep are anything but threatening.

Sakthivel’s cinematography is fine. Sam CS blasts the ears. Editing is crisp while dialogues are normal. Direction is average.

GUARDIAN is a below average fare !!
