NETRU INDHA NERAM is a murder mystery written and directed by Sai Roshan and produced by Clapin Filmotainment. The hero of the film is debutant Shariq Hassan the son of Uma Riyaz and Riyaz Khan.
A resort, group of friends and a murder are intriguing prospects for a murder mystery film. The film has its basics right but in terms of screenplay the film fumbles with repeated scenes and investigation methods. The totally nonchalant characters who are supposedly the suspects in the story do not help in creating any intensity or thrill for the viewer to be invested in the film. The investigation officer too sounds and feels very soft and gentlemanly for an investigation as such. Some credit is due for sticking to the premise of the story and not deviating from the storyline. The different complexities in the relationships between the friends could have been handled better.
Shariq Hassan does a decent job. Haritha too is neat. The rest Monica, Divakar Kumar, Anand, Nithin Aaditya, Kavya, Aravind, Bala, Selva do what is expected out of them.
Manivannan’s cinematography is decent. Kevin’s background score and songs could find some rapport with the younger audience. Dialogues are OK while direction is standard.
NETRU INDHA NERAM is an average entertainer for the young crowd !!
