UYIR THAMIZHUKKU – MOVIE REVIEWUYIR

THAMIZHUKKU is a political drama produced by Moon Pictures and written and directed by Aadham Bhava. This movie was supposed to be released a couple of years ago.

The story of the film is the typical commercial political masala that the audience have been used to. The writer here has given the politics a romantic twist and though it is very unconvincing the film just rolls on based on some noise and all the ruckus of a political fight between two parties. As usual logic, reasoning is out of the window and instead we have a lot of barbs at parties and policies. The reference to the EVM machine manipulation lacks common sense and is absolute trash.

Amir is his average self. Chandini is good in the first half and in the second half she looks and acts drastically different. Anand Raj and the rest are OK.

Because of the delayed shoots and change of technicians the film clearly shows its inconsistency. Vidhya Sagar’s music is a let down. Dialogues are average and direction underwhelming,

UYIR THAMIZHUKKU is a no show.
