Rosamund Pike – Lively and neatly done.
Daniel Brühl– Positive.
Eddie Marsan – Whichever role he does, he rocks.
Others – Honest
Story – Based on the true event happened in 1976 hijacking of an Air France flight en route from Tel Aviv to Paris, and the most daring rescue mission ever attempted.
Cinematography – Moderate
Screenplay – Average
Direction – Simple
7 Days in Entebbe (2018) – Mission successful but lacks intensity! This movie is different from the real life event as it is more of cinematic. Clearly, it’s only purpose was to undercut the heroism and brilliance of the actual rescue operation. At times the movie felt like a second rated movie; with poor screenplay, editing, scenery sets and pathetic attempt to depict a battle to free the hostages. Towards climax, the dance performance and the rescue mission was shown simultaneously which was the only special thing done by the director. Credit to the background music which keeps us in the loop. One time watchable that too for the true event.
