Sonakshi Sinha: She as the spirited and feisty Happy, is very good.

Jimmy Sheirgill: As Bagga, he is excellent with his comic timing. His role has many twists & he delivers each dialogue with an appealing charm.

Mudassar Aziz: He has been able to blend hilarious dialogues of Punjabi in the Chinese setup of the movie & the outcome is hilarious.

Story: Happy, the horticulture professor reaches Shanghai & the other Happy together with Guddu, her husband also arrives in Shanghai at the same time. There are also gangsters who come to kidnap Happy & her husband, but kidnap the wrong Happy, while Happy & her husband Guddu & his wife Happy are accompanied to a university to give a lecture.

Cinematography: Top

Screenplay: Perfect

Direction: Mudassar Aziz’s direction is top notch. HPBJ has a pleasant random humour, the kind that can make one watch the movie repeatedly.

Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi: HPBJ is as good as HBJ, if not better. This movie takes the 1st part’s idea & adds a crazy new twist to the proceedings. The goofball comedy gets a little over-the-top at times, but that’s exactly what works for this madcap comedy.
