RAJAVUKKU CHECK – MOVIE REVIEW

RAJAVUKKU CHECK is a thriller that is written and directed by Sai Rajkumar. Soman Pallatte and Thomas Kokkatt produce this film. Sai Rajkumar is well known for his films like “Mazhai” and “Hello Premistara”.

Sometime back there was this interesting film called “Lens” that touched upon the same subject as this film. Lens was very decently crafted but RC suffers from bad execution and gauche narration. The drama, totally unnecessary for a thriller is a major setback. A few potential plots go unexplored and this leaves a vacuum despite the opportunity for a decent film.

Cheran is the biggest flaw in the film. His over the top expressions and dramatic body language make the scenes feel flimsy. Nandana Varma is just about OK and Srushti Dange is fine in a small role.

MS Prabhul’s cinematography is nothing to write about. Vinod Yajamanya;s loud music is of no big help. Dialogues are very average. Editing CS Prem is found wanting and direction ordinary.

RAJAVUKKU CHECK is a decent game poorly executed !!
