PARUNDHAGUDHU OORU KURUVI – MOVIE REVIEW

PARUNDHAGUDHU OORU KURUVI is written and directed by Dhanabalan. The movie is produced by Lights On Media.
Like always its not enough having an interesting plot or a line(as they are called these days). It is the screenplay that matters and most of the filmmakers despite having a decent plot fumble here. POK is no different, with an a fairly OK plot the film is on a monologue mode most of the time and makes for a weary watch. The proceedings are easily predictable and there is hardly anything that can be considered thrilling. The first half is sedate while the second half and the climax are pretty ordinary.

Technically the film is weak. The cinematography is average and so is the background score. The dialogues are standard and direction unimpressive.
Nishanth Russo has a lot of work to do and is found wanting. Vivek Prasanna is a misfit in this role and Gayathri too is very average.
PARUNDHAGUDHU OORU KURUVI doesn’t take off !!
