Shailene Woodley: She has done a sensual dramatic acting as Tami Oldham a 23-year-old troubled yet ebullient globe-trotter.

Sam Claflin: As Richard Sharp, he has been a handsome answer to deadly masculinity.

Jeffrey Thomas: Plays the role of Peter who requires his own sailboat to return fast to San Diego from Tahiti & will shell out $10,000 for the trouble of Richard.

Story: This movie has been adapted from a true story based on romance & survival-at-sea movie. One can find some icky, gory wounds with clumping  &/or streaming blood; one character sewing his wound on his heada scary, shipwrecked; & quarrelling.

Cinematography: Splendid

Screenplay: In-depth

Direction: Baltasar Kormakur, the director offers a very intimate tale of survival in Adrift with a backdrop of 2 unfettered lovers alone into the Pacific Ocean & observing how they get along after their get shipwrecked in a hurricane.

Airdrift (2018): Adrift, adapted from the book “A True Story of Love, Loss and Survival at Sea” displays emotions openly. It’s not only a tale of an unbelievable feat of continued existence but it is also a story about love, presented with elegance. But the twist is that keeps you engaged with the movie. Those who follow this film will at the end feel, more contented than not.
