Khiladi review : Smart playing.
My rating : 3/5
Performances :
Raviteja is all over the film and he as usual dominates everyone on the screen. He slipped into the role effortlessly and his actions, expressions, dialogue delivery, and mannerisms are a treat to watch. His fans love Raviteja’s mass characterization and elevation. His energy levels are used to the optimum in this film.
Dimple Hayathi turned red hot and exploded on the screen. She looked gorgeous and beautiful and extremely sensuous in the songs. Meenakshi Chaudhary also entertained viewers with her beauty great. Among them, Dimple Hayathi got more screen presence to showcase her glamor while Meenakshi Chaudhary got the scope in some scenes to show her acting skills. Mass moves and dances of Raviteja, Dimple Hayathi, and Meenakshi Chaudhary entertain the masses.
Anasuya also sizzles in a glamour avatar in the second half.
Arjun Sarja played the role of a tough cop and he did his role convincingly.
Murli Sharma, Rao Ramesh, and Vennela Kishore did their part.
Sachin Khedkar, Unni Mukundan, Mukesh Rishi, Anoop singh and others are okay.

Technical values :
Director Ramesh Varma tried to elevate Raviteja’s heroism to another level in an interesting thriller. He tried to full Khiladi with all elements like comedy, action, romance, sentiment etc, Ramesh Varma and his writers have proceeded in the same way, the result might not have looked this bad. But for some strange reason, the team has relied more on twists and turns. The twists are easily guessable, and they keep on coming all through the second half, even at the climax part, we get to see two or three twists. That is not enough; there is a hint of a sequel.
Devi Sri Prasad has come up with foot-tapping numbers. Three songs have worked on screen and background score also perfect.
GK Vishnu and Sujith Vassudev with their cinematography at times elevated the scenes. Some of the visuals are beautiful but other times the work looked just average.
Ram laxman and anbariv action choreography in a stylish manner.
Editing is fine. Production values are top class.

Highlights :
Ravi teja performance
Action sequences
Interval bang

Drawbacks :
Predictable story
Direction

Overall : A worth watching thriller.
