CHARLIE 777 is an emotional adventure drama that is written and directed by Kiran Raj and produced by Paramvah Studios. The movie generated a lot of buzz before its release because of CHARLIE.

The story of CHARLIE is linear and very predictable. But what works for CHARLIE are the nicely balances emotions that are peppered with some finely layered songs. The humour isn’t forced and is simple. At times it becomes a tad difficult to invest in the indulgence and the length could have been a lot shorter especially the climax. The songs though pretty good, does prolong the length of the scenes. Yet CHARLIE takes you on a wonderful roller coaster ride to touch emotional peaks..

CHARLIE is adorable and it’s tough to take one’s eyes off her. Rakshit Shetty delivers a fantastic performance under tough circumstances. The supporting cast is wonderful, especially the child artiste Sharvari.

Arvind Kashyap’s cinematography is splendid. Partheek Shetty’s editing is good save for the length of the film. Nobin Paul is the star with a uplifting background score and brilliant songs. Dialogues are good and direction for a debutant is worthy.

CHARLIE 777 is a definite watch not just for the pet lovers, but as a whiff of fresh breeze for the rest after some heavy duty action films.
