DHARALA PRABHU – MOVIE REVIEW
DHARALA PRABHU is the remake of “VICKY DONOR” that made waves in Bollywood. The film is produced by and directed by Krishna Marimuthu

DP has a very interesting and entertaining plot. The screenplay is very engaging and is progressive too. It strikes a fine balance at the same time not being too preachy. The script is a light hearted comedy that still manages to throw light and educate the audience on some sensitive matters in a very enterprising way. The movie’s casting is a delight and helps in conviction. On the flip side it could be a tad crisper.
Harish Kalyan is a definite find for kollywood and is improving leaps and bounds. He pulls off his role with conviction. Tanya Hope is impactful in her mature and role. It’s refreshing to see Vivekh perform so well in comparison to the flatfooted comedians of late
Selvakumar’s cinematography is fine. Music department is loaded with a bevy of composers and helps. Editing by Kripakaran is decent. Dialogues are good and direction is a plus.
DHARALA PRABHU a decent remake is light hearted fun and enlightening too.
